FOUNDER/VISIONARY

Pastor Curtis White- was born and raised in New York City in 1964 to proud parents Nathaniel and Carrie White, where he was raised in a loving Christian home, and received his early Christian instruction at Little First Baptist Church, a family represented Church in Harlem, New York.

Pastor White was saved and baptized at the age of 9, and would have his early world view and morals shaped by his Christian upbringing, but like many young men faced with the challenges associated with life and adulthood, there were life paths taken that God’s Grace and Mercy stepped in and turned it around for His good. Pastor White has a testimony.

Pastor White rededicated his life back to Christ in 1994 while stationed in Germany, and answered the call to preach the Gospel in 1997. He was ordained in the year 2002 under his Spiritual Father, Pastor Eric Jackson, Founder and Senior Pastor of Faith on the Move Ministries in Savannah, Georgia. With the blessing of his Spiritual Father, Pastor White while stationed in Alaska joined the Church of God in Christ, and in the year 2006 met all ministerial and board requirements as an ordained Elder, under the State of Alaska Prelate, Bishop CD Williams, and our renowned Presiding Bishop, the Late Bishop GE Patterson.  

Pastor White would respond to his pastoral call in 2005 while deployed to Iraq, and oversaw the Army Gospel Service which was one of the largest ministries in theatre. Pastor White Co-Founded New Beginnings Church in Fairbanks Alaska where he served has Assistant Pastor from 2007-2011. Pastor White would assist various ministries in spiritual development and teaching throughout San Antonio, Texas from 2013-2015, until God opened the doors to Living upon the Rock Church where Pastor White serves today as Senior Pastor, assisted by his lovely wife Co-Pastor CaLisha White. 

Pastor White held various positions in the church to include Sunday School Teacher of all ages, YPWW President and teacher, C.O.G.I.C District Finance President, Bible Band teacher, Brotherhood President, Choir Member, Praise and Worship Member. Pastor White holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and is on course to complete his Master’s Degree in Christian Ministry from Wayland Baptist University. Pastor White is an Decorated Army Retired Combat Veteran, with 20 years honorable service and today is employed a Case Manager providing emergency financial assistance to Veterans in need.

Pastor White is married to the love of his life Prophetess CaLisha White, Co-Pastor of Living upon the Rock Church, and together they have a blended family of 8 children, and 6 grandchildren.
