Pastor Curtis White was born in 1964 in New York City to Nathaniel and Carrie White. Raised in a nurturing Christian environment, he received his foundational Christian education at Little First Baptist Church in Harlem, New York.
At the age of nine, Pastor White experienced salvation and baptism, an event that deeply influenced his worldview and morals. Despite the challenges of youth and adulthood, he witnessed the transformative power of God’s grace and mercy in his life.
In 1994, while stationed in Germany, Pastor White rededicated his life to Christ and answered the call to preach the Gospel in 1997. He was ordained in 2002 under the guidance of his Spiritual Father, Pastor Eric Jackson, Founder and Senior Pastor of Faith on the Move Ministries in Savannah, Georgia. With Pastor Jackson’s blessing, Pastor White continued his journey by joining the Church of God in Christ while stationed in Alaska. In 2006, he met all ministerial and board requirements to become an ordained Elder under the State of Alaska Prelate, Bishop C.D. Williams, and the renowned Presiding Bishop, the Late Bishop G.E. Patterson.
In 2005, while deployed to Iraq, Pastor White responded to his pastoral call and oversaw the Army Gospel Service, one of the largest ministries in the theater. He co-founded New Beginnings Church in Fairbanks, Alaska, serving as Assistant Pastor from 2007 to 2011. From 2013 to 2015, he contributed to various ministries in San Antonio, Texas, before God opened the doors for him to serve as Senior Pastor of Living Upon the Rock Church. He is supported in this role by his wife, Co-Pastor CaLisha White.
Pastor White has held multiple church positions, including Sunday School Teacher for all ages, YPWW President and teacher, C.O.G.I.C District Finance President, Bible Band Teacher, Brotherhood President, Choir Member, and Praise and Worship Member. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and a Master’s Degree in Christian Ministry from Wayland Baptist University. Pastor White is also a decorated Army Retired Combat Veteran, having completed 20 years of honorable service. He currently works as a Manager, providing emergency financial assistance to veterans in need.
Pastor White is married to Prophetess CaLisha White, Co-Pastor of Living Upon the Rock Church. Together, they have a blended family of eight children and nine grandchildren.
Pastor White is dedicated to modeling his life after God's own heart.
